Meats
- 4 Oscar Mayer Wieners
- 8 slices Oscar Mayer Bacon
Cheese & Tortillas
- 8 Kraft American Cheese Singles
- 2 flour tortillas
Condiments
- Heinz Ketchup for dipping
Instructions
- Prepare Macaroni & Cheese: Cook the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese according to the package directions until creamy and set aside.
- Cook Bacon: Fry the bacon slices in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- Warm Hot Dogs: Heat the Oscar Mayer Wieners by pan cooking, grilling, or microwaving until warmed through. Slice into rounds once cooked.
- Preheat Skillet: Lightly grease a medium skillet and preheat it over medium heat for cooking the quesadilla.
- Assemble Base Tortilla: Place one flour tortilla flat in the skillet to begin assembling your quesadilla.
- Add Cheese Layer: Tear a slice of Kraft American Cheese into pieces and evenly distribute over the tortilla.
- Add Mac & Cheese: Spoon approximately 1/2 cup of prepared Kraft Macaroni & Cheese over the cheese layer, spreading it evenly.
- Add Bacon and Hot Dog: Place 2 slices of cooked bacon and the sliced hot dog rounds evenly over the macaroni & cheese.
- Add Top Cheese Layer: Tear another slice of Kraft American Cheese into pieces and scatter it over the toppings.
- Top with Second Tortilla: Place the second flour tortilla on top and lightly spray it with cooking spray or spread a thin layer of butter.
- Cook First Side: Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese melts, approximately 3-4 minutes, then carefully flip the quesadilla.
- Cook Second Side: Continue cooking the other side until it is also golden brown and the quesadilla is heated through.
- Serve: Remove the quesadilla from the skillet, slice it into quarters, and serve warm with Heinz Ketchup for dipping.
Notes
- You can substitute other types of hot dogs or bacon according to your preference.
- Cooking spray or butter helps achieve a crispy golden crust on the tortillas.
- For extra spice, add jalapeños or hot sauce inside the quesadilla.
- Leftovers can be reheated gently in a skillet to keep the quesadilla crispy.
- Ensure not to overfill the quesadilla to prevent it from falling apart when flipping.
