Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cake: Cut the cooled angel food cake into 1-inch cubes to create the base layers of the dessert.
  2. First Cake Layer: Evenly layer half of the cake cubes into the bottom of a 9×9-inch cake pan, either metal or glass.
  3. First Cherry Layer: Spread two-thirds of the cherry pie filling evenly over the cake cubes.
