Description

  • 28” or 10” flour tortillas

Pizza Sauce

  • ½ cup (125g) pizza or pasta sauce, divided

Cheeses

  • 3 Tablespoons (17g) grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • ½ cup (112g) shredded mozzarella, divided

Toppings

  • 20 pepperoni slices OR assorted other toppings, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Arrange one rack in the center of your oven and preheat it to 425ºF (218ºC). Place the flour tortillas on a flat surface ready for assembly.
  2. Spread Sauce: Spoon approximately ¼ cup (63g) of pizza or pasta sauce onto each tortilla. Spread the sauce evenly across the surface, leaving a small margin around the edges to ensure the crust crisps nicely.
  3. Add Cheese and Toppings: Sprinkle about 1½ tablespoons (8.5g) of grated Parmesan cheese evenly over each tortilla, followed by ¼ cup (56g) of shredded mozzarella. Top with 10 slices of pepperoni or your preferred toppings, adjusting according to taste.
  4. Bake the Pizzas: Carefully place the prepared tortillas directly on the oven rack to allow the heat to crisp the base. Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden and crispy. Alternatively, bake one at a time in a toaster oven or air fryer for the same amount of time.
  5. Cool and Serve: Remove the pizzas from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving to enjoy the perfect balance of crunchy crust and gooey cheese.

Notes

  • Flour tortillas: We recommend using “gordita” style tortillas for a thicker base that holds toppings better without getting soggy.
