Instructions
- Prepare the custard and whipped cream if not already done.
- In a large glass bowl or individual cups, start with a layer of sponge cake cubes.
- Spread a thin layer of fruit preserves or jam (if using) over the cake.
- Add a layer of custard, followed by a layer of mixed winter fruits.
- Repeat the layers until the bowl is filled, finishing with custard and whipped cream on top.
