Description

Strawberry Sorbet is a refreshing, dairy-free frozen dessert made with just a few simple ingredients. Bursting with vibrant strawberry flavor, it’s the perfect naturally sweet treat for hot days or a light finish to any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water.
  2. Blend until smooth and the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours.
  5. Pour into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20–25 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze, stirring every 30 minutes until firm.
  • Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the strawberries.
  • Add a splash of vodka or corn syrup to reduce iciness if storing for longer periods.
