Description
A rich and fudgy copycat version of the famous Starbucks Double Chocolate Brownie, packed with chocolate chips and a deep cocoa flavor.

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and dark chocolate chunks.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For an extra gooey center, slightly underbake the brownies by 2–3 minutes.
- Use high-quality cocoa powder for a deeper chocolate flavor.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
