Description

These Reindeer Brownies are a festive and fun holiday treat perfect for parties or family gatherings. They combine rich, chocolaty brownies with playful decorations to resemble reindeer faces, making them an enjoyable dessert that kids and adults alike will love.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Base

  • 1 box of brownie mix
  • Required oil (as per brownie mix instructions)
  • Required water (as per brownie mix instructions)
  • Required eggs (as per brownie mix instructions)

Decorations

  • 16 pretzel twists
  • 16 candy eyes
  • 8 red M&M candies
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare Brownie Batter: Follow the instructions on the brownie mix box to prepare the batter, combining the mix with the required oil, water, and eggs as indicated.
  2. Bake Brownies: Pour the prepared batter into a greased baking pan and bake according to the brownie mix package directions until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely before decorating.
  3. Cut Brownies: Once cooled, cut the brownies into 16 equal squares, which will form the base for each reindeer treat.
  4. Add Antlers: Press two pretzel twists into the top edge of each brownie square to create the reindeer’s antlers.
  5. Create Eyes: Place two candy eyes below the pretzels on each brownie square to form the reindeer’s eyes.
  6. Make Noses: Attach a red M&M candy at the center just below the eyes on 8 of the brownies to represent Rudolph’s red nose. Leave the other 8 without the red nose for variety.
  7. Add Mouths: Melt the chocolate chips slightly and use a small piping bag or toothpick to draw a smile or mouth on each brownie below the nose and eyes to complete the face.

Notes

  • Ensure brownies are fully cooled before decorating to prevent melting or sliding of decorations.
  • You can substitute candy eyes with small white frosting dots if unavailable.
  • If you want more Rudolph brownies, add more red M&M candies accordingly.
  • Use mini pretzels if large pretzels make the antlers too big for the brownies.
  • Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
