- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Drain mozzarella balls and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Add mozzarella balls to the marinade and gently toss to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve chilled or at room temperature.
