Description

Garlic Butter Beef Cheeseburger Rollups are the ultimate comfort food—flaky dough wrapped around seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and brushed with savory garlic butter. They’re perfect as a snack, party appetizer, or an easy family dinner everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent dough or pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Optional: pickles, cooked bacon bits, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Unroll crescent or pizza dough and press into a rectangle. Spread beef mixture evenly across the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  6. Carefully roll the dough up, starting from the long edge, into a log shape. Pinch ends to seal.
  7. Slice the log into 1.5–2 inch thick rollups and place them flat-side down on the baking sheet.
  8. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and parsley, then brush over the tops of the rollups.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired and bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Serve warm with dipping sauces like ketchup, ranch, or burger sauce.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked bacon or chopped pickles inside the rollups for extra flavor.
  • You can swap cheddar with American, pepper jack, or mozzarella cheese.
  • Freeze before baking for a quick future meal—just add a few minutes to bake time from frozen.
