- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (Nutella)
- 12 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- 1 cup crushed wafer cookies
- 1/2 cup toasted hazelnuts, chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap, leaving enough overhang on the sides to cover the top.
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, Nutella, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the Nutella mixture until well combined.
- Pour half of the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth it out.
- Sprinkle half of the crushed wafers, hazelnuts, and chopped Ferrero Rocher chocolates over the mixture.
- Top with the remaining ice cream mixture, then repeat with the remaining wafers, hazelnuts, and Ferrero Rocher pieces.
- Fold the overhanging plastic wrap over the top and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
- Unwrap, invert onto a serving plate, and garnish with extra Ferrero Rocher chocolates before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra indulgence, drizzle melted chocolate over the terrine before serving.
- You can substitute Nutella with any chocolate hazelnut spread of your choice.
- This dessert can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the freezer.
