Description
These Crispy Fried S’mores Bombs are a fun twist on the classic campfire treat, featuring gooey marshmallows and melted chocolate wrapped in dough, fried until golden, and rolled in cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 large marshmallows
- 8 small pieces of milk chocolate
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit or crescent roll dough
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Flatten each biscuit or crescent roll dough piece slightly.
- Place one marshmallow and one piece of chocolate in the center of the dough. Wrap and seal tightly to form a ball.
- Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the dough balls in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking.
- Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll the warm fried bombs in the mixture until fully coated.
- Serve warm and enjoy the gooey center!
Notes
- Ensure the dough is sealed tightly to prevent marshmallow from leaking during frying.
- Can be baked at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes for a lighter version.
- Serve with chocolate sauce or caramel for extra indulgence.
