  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage, casings removed

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Return the cooked meat to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce.
  6. Add cooked rigatoni and toss until evenly coated. Stir in mozzarella cheese and allow it to melt into the pasta.
