  • 1/4 cup (55g) brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup (70g) old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss to coat and spread evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the apples are tender.
  7. Cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce if desired.
