- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (55g) brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup (70g) old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss to coat and spread evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the apples are tender.
- Cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce if desired.
