Chicken

Instructions

  1. Prepare Marinade: In a medium bowl, thoroughly whisk together bourbon, soy sauce, water, minced garlic, brown sugar, fresh ginger, red wine, and sesame oil until well combined. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, toss to coat evenly, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight for maximum flavor infusion.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink on the outside, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add Marinade for Sauce: Pour in half of the reserved marinade over the chicken in the skillet. Continue cooking for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the marinade thickens into a rich sauce and the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Prepare Extra Sauce (Optional): For extra sauce, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes until reduced by half and slightly thickened.
