Description

Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza is a comforting Southern-style dish that combines flaky biscuit crust, creamy sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, and melted cheese into one irresistible breakfast pizza.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives or green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
  2. Separate biscuit dough and press into a large rectangle or circle on the prepared pan, pinching the seams together. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. While the crust bakes, cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Do not drain the fat.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the sausage and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk while stirring until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
  5. In a separate pan, melt butter and scramble the eggs until just set but still soft.
  6. Spread the sausage gravy over the pre-baked biscuit crust. Top with scrambled eggs and shredded cheese.
  7. Return to oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped chives or green onions, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add crumbled bacon or diced bell peppers for extra flavor.
  • Use store-bought sausage gravy to save time.
  • Try mozzarella or pepper jack cheese for a different twist.
