Description

The Beefy Cheesy Fries Wrap is a hearty, indulgent wrap loaded with seasoned ground beef, crispy fries, melted cheese, and your favorite sauces — all wrapped in a warm tortilla. It’s perfect for lunch, dinner, or a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or 2 tbsp homemade taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cups frozen French fries
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup ketchup or burger sauce (optional)
  • Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, or jalapeños (optional toppings)
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
  5. Assemble each wrap: spread a spoonful of sour cream in the center of the tortilla, add a layer of ground beef, a handful of fries, shredded cheese, and any additional toppings or sauce.
  6. Fold in the sides and roll the tortilla tightly into a wrap.
  7. Optional: grill the wrap seam-side down in a skillet for 2–3 minutes to crisp it and melt the cheese inside.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Swap ground beef with ground chicken or plant-based crumbles for variation.
  • Use nacho cheese sauce instead of shredded cheese for an extra creamy filling.
  • Great for using up leftover fries or taco meat.
  • Add hot sauce or sriracha for a spicy kick.
