Description

4-Ingredient Orange Chicken is a quick and easy dish that combines crispy chicken with a sweet and tangy orange-flavored sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights when you want takeout-style food at home.

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Place chicken pieces in a single layer in the dish. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until fully cooked and slightly golden.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine orange marmalade, BBQ sauce, and soy sauce. Stir and cook until warmed through and slightly thickened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Remove chicken from oven, toss with the sauce until well coated, and return to the oven for another 5 minutes to caramelize slightly.
  5. Serve hot over rice or with steamed vegetables.

Notes

  • Use store-bought popcorn chicken or chicken nuggets for an even quicker version.
